BROCCOLI AND TURKEY CASSEROLE|
1 pkg. homemade Soup Starter
4 c. water
1 tsp. curry powder
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen
2 c. cubed cooked chicken or
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. butter or margarine,
2 c. croutons
garlic salt to taste
In medium saucepan, combine Soup Starter, water and
curry powder. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer
30 minutes. Cook broccoli according to package directions (no
salt). Drain. In a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish, layer half the
Soup Starter, turkey, broccoli and cheese. Repeat layer. Melt
butter and garlic salt, coat croutons with butter and sprinkle
over casserole. Bake in preheated oven 350 degrees for 30 minutes or
until hot and bubbly.
