QUICK TRICK SKILLET SUPPER

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. sliced celery
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. fat
1 pkg. (7 oz.) elbow macaroni
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems
and pieces

Cook ground beef, onion, celery and green pepper in fat
until beef is lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Remove
from pan, reserving drippings. Add macaroni to fat; brown
lightly. Add the beef mixture, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water,
salt, pepper, oregano and mushrooms. Cover tightly; cook
slowly 30 to 35 minutes or until macaroni is done.
