ENCHILADAS SUISSAS

1 can refried beans
1 pkg. corn tortillas
1 small can tomato sauce
1/2 to 3/4 lb. Swiss cheese
3 tsp. cumin powder
1/4 tsp. garlic granules
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. chili powder

Open beans and heat in heavy frying pan. Season with 2
teaspoons cumin powder, garlic and onion. This is quick
version. You may saute one onion and clove of garlic before
adding beans. Add water if necessary to make beans a nice
spreading consistency. Grate cheese. Grease a baking pan.
Spread each tortilla with seasoned beans and stack in baking
pan. My pans are square and the tortillas are round, so
centers overlap and create a little hill! Mix remaining cumin
and chili powder into tomato sauce; pour over tortillas. Bake
1/2 hour at 350 degrees. Sprinkle cheese over top during last 10
minutes.
