PLANTATION SHRIMP PILAU

4 slices bacon
1 c. raw rice, cooked
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 Tbsp. bell pepper
2 c. small shrimp
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. flour
salt and pepper to taste

Fry bacon until crisp; save to use later. Add bacon
grease to water in which rice will be cooked. In frying pan
melt butter; add celery and chopped bell pepper. Cook a few
minutes; add shrimp, sprinkled with Worcestershire sauce and
dredged in flour. Stir and simmer until shrimp are cooked.
Season with salt and pepper; add rice and mix. More butter may
be added. Stir in crumbled bacon and serve.
