CABBAGE PATCH STEW|
1 lb. hamburger
1 stalk celery, diced
4 ripe tomatoes, quartered
3 medium potatoes, cubed
3 sliced carrots
1/2 head green cabbage
3 1/2 c. water
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
Brown hamburger and drain. Add onion and celery. Saute
until onion is clear. Add tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, coarse-
ly shredded cabbage, water, salt, pepper and bay leaf. Simmer
1 hour. Remove bay leaf. Serves 8.
