CHICKEN CACCIATORE (WHITE)

1 medium onion
1 clove garlic
1 can chicken broth
1/4 c. water
1 chicken (cut in pieces)
oil
1 lb. macaroni (spaghetti,
linguine, etc.)

Cut onion into thick 1/2 inch rings; brown in oil. Once
brown, add chicken and brown. Add chicken broth, 1/4 cup
water; bring to a boil. Turn down; cover and simmer 1/2 hour.
Remove chicken. Cook macaroni; drain. Turn sauce up and add
macaroni. Stir to absorb some sauce. Put into bowl and pour
sauce over top. Toss and serve.
