3 c. Bisquick mix
3/4 c. water
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 (4 1/2 oz.) sliced
mushrooms, drained
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
2 c. shredded Mozzarella
cheese, about 8 ounces

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease jelly roll pan, 15
1/2 x 10 1/2-inches or cookie sheet. Mix baking mix and water
until soft dough forms. Gently smooth dough into ball on
floured surface. Knead 20 times. Pat dough on bottom and up
sides of pan with floured hands. Or roll into rectangle 13 x
10-inches and place on cookie sheet. Pinch edges forming
3/4-inch rim. Cook and stir ground beef, onion, salt and
garlic until beef is brown, drain. Mix tomato sauce and
seasoning. Spread over dough. Spoon meat over sauce. Top
with mushrooms, green peppers and cheese. Bake 20 minutes or
until crust is golden brown. Makes 8 servings.
