MEXICAN CASSEROLE 1 lb. hamburger 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 Tbsp. minced onion 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 c. chopped black olives (optional) 1 c. sour cream 1 c. cottage cheese 1 can chopped green chilies (optional) 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese 1 pkg. Doritos (large size bag) Brown meat; drain. Add garlic, onion, tomato sauce, black olives and chilies. Mix well. Mix cottage cheese and sour cream together. Crush bag of chips. Sprinkle crushed chips on bottom of baking dish, (approximately 13 x 11 x 2-inches). Add 1/2 meat sauce, cheese and sour cream mix, then sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Repeat process with remaining ingredients, ending with chips and cover chips with Cheddar cheese. I usually add sour cream and cottage cheese to meat mixture.
