FLAMING STEAK
(Mexican Style)
1 beef round steak or 8 pork
chops
4 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. shortening
2 medium tomatoes
4 hot jalapeno peppers
1 garlic clove
1 tsp. salt
water

Dice or chop tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, clove and salt
and mix 1/2 hour before.
Trim off fat, cut steak into 1-inch cubes and brown on
medium heat about 15 minutes. Add shortening. Stir in flour,
brown lightly. Remove from heat and cool for 2 minutes. Add
mixture of tomatoes, peppers and garlic. Return to heat. Add
water according to desired thickness. Add salt. Serve hot
with fried rice and refried beans.
