2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 lb. ground beef
2 cans tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
1 small onion, chopped
3 buds garlic, minced
1 tsp. leaf oregano
1 pinch of soda
1 medium size green pepper,
2 eggs
1/2 c. cracker crumbs

Mix ground beef, eggs, green peppers and cracker crumbs.
Form into meatballs. Brown in oil in large skillet, over
medium heat. Add onions and garlic about halfway through the
browning process. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano and
soda. Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Serve over hot cooked
spaghetti. Can be frozen.
