1 lb. ground beef (season to
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1 pt. canned green beans
2 c. mashed potatoes
red pepper (only for
sprinkling on top of
casserole before baking)
Brown ground beef with chopped onion. Add tomato soup
and green beans. Mix well. While meat is browning, cook
potatoes and then whip or mash and add 1 egg while blending.
Place ground beef, soup and bean mixture in casserole bowl.
Scoop "islands" of potatoes and place on top of meat mixture.
Sprinkle very lightly with a little red pepper and bake for 45
minutes or until potatoes are browned a little in 375 degrees oven.
