PIE BURGERS

Filling:

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chili sauce
2 Tbsp. relish
1 pkg. onion soup mix
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Crust:
2 c. flour
2/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. caraway seed
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shredded cheese
1 tsp. vinegar

Filling: Brown ground beef and drain. Mix with other
filling ingredients. Set aside.
Crust: Combine flour and salt. Cut in shortening.
Stir in the cheese and caraway seeds. Add vinegar to milk and
stir in flour mixture. Roll out and cut in squares. Fill each
with meat mixture. Fold over in a triangle shape. Moisten
edges and seal. Prick holes in top. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes
at 400 degrees. Good even when cold!
