LASAGNA

3 lb. (85%) lean hamburger or
ground steak
1 medium onion, chopped

Put in deep skillet. Keep chopped up fine until well
done. Add:
1 large can tomato paste
1 large can water (use as much
water as tomato paste)*
3 Tbsp. minced garlic
salt to taste
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 can mushrooms, chopped
*You may need to add more water later if mixture gets
too thick.
Simmer for 1 hour. Cook 1/2 box lasagna noodles as
directed on box. To stack:
1st Layer: Spray dish with Pam. Layer bottom of pan
with noodles, then spread 1/2 lasagna mixture over this. Next,
slice (thin) mild Cheddar cheese and layer. Then place sliced
Mozzarella cheese over this. Start again with second layer,
leaving off mild Cheddar cheese.
