1 c. chopped onion
1 green pepper, cut in strips
1 1/2 lb. lean ground chuck
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. MSG
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella
1 small can mushrooms
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 qt. or 1 (1 lb. 2 oz.) can
whole tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna
noodles, uncooked
2 Tbsp. margarine

Saute onion and green pepper in margarine for three
minutes. Add meat and brown, breaking up meat with spoon as it
cooks. Add seasoned salt, MSG, pepper and sugar. Stir in
tomatoes, tomato sauce and 2 cups water. Heat mixture to
boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Into a 13 x 9
x 2-inch pan layer tomato-meat mixture with uncooked noodles.
Top with sliced cheese and mushrooms. Make sure noodles are
well covered with sauce. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake
in preheated 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes.
