HOT CHICKEN SALAD (Most Often Asked For Casserole Recipe)
2 c. cooked, chopped chicken
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. cooked rice (instant not
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
3 chopped hard boiled eggs
Mix and put in casserole dish. Top with:
1/4 lb. melted butter
1 c. cornflake crumbs
1/2 c. chopped almonds
Mix topping ingredients together and spread on top of
chicken. Place in oblong glass baking dish (9 x 13-inch).
