INSIDE-OUT RAVIOLI

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped
spinach
1 (1 lb.) can spaghetti sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shells, cooked
and drained
4 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese,
shredded
1/2 c. Italian bread crumbs
2 well beaten eggs
1/2 c. salad oil

Brown ground beef, chopped onion and minced garlic in
large skillet. Cook spinach according to package directions.
Drain, reserving liquid. Add water to make one cup. Add
spinach liquid, spaghetti sauce, tomato paste, salt and pepper
to meat mixture. Simmer 10 minutes. Combine spinach with
macaroni and remaining ingredients. Spread in 13 x 9 x 2-inch
baking dish. Top with meat sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min-
utes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 8 to 10.
