2 lb. stew meat, cut into
bite-size pieces
2 small cans mushrooms (use
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. wine (Burgundy, sherry
or your choice)

Mix all in casserole and cover tightly. Bake at 300 degrees
for 3 hours and do not peek.
Optional: Add 3/4 cup sour cream when cooked.
Serve over noodles or rice.
