1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 (15 oz.) can Mexican style
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco
6 (8-inch) flour tortillas,
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef and onions.
Drain fat. Stir in Mexican style beans, tomato sauce and taco
seasoning. Layer half the tortillas on bottom of 11 x 7-inch
baking dish. Spread half the meat mixture over and sprinkle
with half the cheese. Repeat layers. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degrees
oven. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Top each serving
with lettuce, onions and tomatoes.
