CHEESE STEAK

2 lb. (1/2-inch thick) round
steak, in 6 to 8 pieces
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
3 Tbsp. hot fat
1 c. water
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley

Cut round steak into pieces. Pound to 1/4-inch.
Combine flour, salt and garlic salt. Dredge meat in mixture.
Brown slowly in hot fat. Add water and onions. Cover and
simmer 1 hour or until tender. Sprinkle with cheese and
parsley. Cover, cook 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese melts.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
