"GONE-ALL-AFTERNOON STEW"

2 lb. stew beef, cubed
3 medium carrots, sliced
2 onions, chopped
3 potatoes, peeled and
quartered
cooked or frozen peas (or any
leftover or frozen
vegetable)
1 can tomato soup
1 can water
1 tsp. salt
sprinkle of pepper
1 bay leaf
dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 beef bouillon cube,
dissolved in the can water
1/4 c. pickle juice or red
wine

Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Put all ingredients into large
casserole with a lid to fit. There is no need to brown the
meat first. Mix ingredients together. Cover tightly and bake
in preheated oven for four or five hours. Serves 6 and it's
delicious! Bon Appetit!
