HERB AND CHICKEN RICE PILAF|
1/4 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. uncooked rice
2 1/2 c. water
1 pkg. Lipton chicken noodle
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper, sage and thyme
Heat butter and saute onion, celery and rice until brown
in a skillet. Stir in other ingredients. Cover and simmer 15
minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and let
stand 10 minutes. Serves 6 to 10 people.
