LASAGNA

1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 can tomato soup
1 large can whole tomatoes
with juice
1 box lasagne noodles
salt and pepper
oregano
Italian seasoning
1 egg
1 box or carton cottage cheese
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
grated Parmesan cheese

Brown hamburger and onions with dashes of pepper and
garlic (if desired). Add tomato sauce, tomato soup, tomatoes
and a dash of salt and pepper. Add 1 tablespoon of Italian
seasoning (or to your taste). Simmer for 30 minutes. Cook
lasagne noodles and drain; mix one egg, slightly beaten, with
cottage cheese. Layer in this order in large flat casserole:
sauce on bottom, noodles, cottage cheese spread over each
noodle, Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese sprinkled over all;
repeat layers. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
