CHICKEN A LA KING
4 oz. onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. tomato puree
2/3 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano
dash of pepper
2 slices bread, crumbled
1 tsp. basil
8 oz. skinned and boned
4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
Mix onion, tomato puree, water, salt, oregano and pepper
and simmer 15 minutes. Add bread and basil together. Beat
chicken flat. Roll in bread mixture. Brown in nonstick pan.
Pour sauce over chicken and top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for
