1 lb. ground chuck
8 oz. mushrooms
1 large green pepper (4 oz.)
1 large onion (6 oz.)
2 c. canned tomatoes
1 c. beef broth
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt or to taste
1/2 tsp. pepper
8 oz. medium noodles
6 slices American cheese
butter and paprika as needed
for topping

In large frying pan, brown ground chuck; drain. Add
chopped onions, green pepper, mushrooms, tomatoes and season-
ings; mixture is cooked 10 minutes. Noodles are cooked
according to directions and add along with beef stock. Cook 5
more minutes. Spoon into individual casseroles or 1 large one.
Cover with cheese slices and sprinkle with melted butter and
paprika over. Brown in 275 degrees oven. Serves 6.
