HAMBURG AND POTATO DISH|
1 to 1 1/2 lb. hamburg
2 beef cubes
tomato juice, if desired
Place 1/2 of meat into baking dish; press flat. Then
spread scant layer of onions, a full layer of sliced raw
potatoes, then another layer of hamburg, layer of scant onions
and a full layer of potatoes. Mix 2 beef cubes in 3/4 to 1 cup
hot water. Pour over the casserole (tomato juice may be
substituted for water). Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
