2 (1 lb.) beef round steaks
(each 1/4-inch thick)
5 medium tomatoes
1/4 c. salad oil
2 Tbsp. chopped green onion
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. basil
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Pound meat to 1/8-inch thick. Cut pieces to 6 x 3-inch-
es. Brown meat in oil. In saucepan mix all other ingredients
and boil. Pour out oil from meat and add sauce and simmer 10
to 15 minutes (can add flour instead of cornstarch to thicken
