MEXICAN CORNBREAD DISH
1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburger,
chopped green pepper
2 cans drained kidney beans
1 can tomato sauce
12 oz. jar picante sauce
Layer in order given: hamburger, green pepper, onion,
kidney beans, tomato sauce and picante sauce.
1 c. self-rising corn meal or
1 pkg. regular or jalapeno
Mix as directed on package. Pour over layers. Top all
with 1 cup grated cheese of your choice. Bake in 350 degrees oven
