TOASTY CHEESE BAKE 8 slices white bread butter 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/4 c. chopped onion 2 Tbsp. chopped celery 1 tsp. mustard 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. shredded process sharp American cheese 1 egg, slightly beaten 3/4 c. milk dash of pepper Heat oven to 350 degrees. Toast bread, butter both sides. Cook and stir meat, onion, celery, mustard and salt until meat is brown. Add a layer of toast, a layer of meat and cheese. Mix egg, 1/2 teaspoon salt, dash of pepper, 3/4 cup milk and pour over layers in pan. Bake, uncovered, for 30 to 35 min- utes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
