4 peeled, vine ripe tomatoes
1 green pepper
1 medium onion
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
grated Cheddar cheese
Chop tomatoes, green peppers and onion. Add sugar, salt
and pepper. Stew until tender in 4 quart saucepan. Prepare 2
cups biscuit mix. Pat out on waxed paper 1/4-inch thick. Cut
into squares. Place 1 tablespoon grated Cheddar cheese on each
square and pinch into ball. Drop balls into boiling tomatoes.
Cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 more minutes.
