2 onions, chopped
1/4 c. oil
2 apples, cored and chopped
5 cloves garlic, mashed
2 Tbsp. curry powder
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. honey (optional)
4 c. cooked, drained lentils
2 c. cooked rice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. red pepper

Saute onions and apples in oil until soft. Add garlic
and curry powder and saute another 5 to 6 minutes. Add water
and honey and simmer until apples are mushy. Mix in lentils
and rice and salt and pepper. Turn off heat. Let sit for 5
minutes, then serve.
