MEXICAN HOT DISH|
1 lb. refried beans
2 lb. ground beef
3 (6 oz.) cans green chili
1 c. shredded Monterey Jack
3/4 lb. shredded Colby cheese
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
6 flour tortillas
Combine beans, cumin, garlic and Jack cheese in double
boiler; cook and keep hot. Cook meat; add 2 cans of salsa.
Cook uncovered until most of liquid evaporates. Spread tortil-
las with bean mixture; spread meat over beans. Roll tortillas.
Place seam side down in 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour third can of
salsa over top and sprinkle with Colby cheese. Bake at 350 degrees
for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Garnish with tomato, onion and
