1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. diced celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. catsup
1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. chili powder
4 to 6 toasted hamburger
rolls, buttered
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Brown the hamburger. Add onions, celery, seasonings and
water. Cover and simmer; add more liquid, if necessary.
Correct seasoning, if necessary. Spoon onto buns and top with
shredded cheese. Place under broiler until cheese is slightly
melted. Serve.
