DOWN HOME SKILLET SUPPER 1 lb. hamburger 1 can black-eyed peas 1 c. rice, uncooked 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 soup can milk 1 small onion Cook rice according to package directions and set aside. Mix milk and soup and set aside. Brown hamburger in a skillet; drain off the grease. Add black-eyed peas, rice and onion; stir in milk and soup mixture and simmer 15 minutes. Makes 4 hearty servings. Serve with a tossed green salad and cornbread or your choice.
