QUICHE LORRAINE

8 slices bacon
12 slices Swiss cheese
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 unbaked pie shell
2 c. half and half
1 Tbsp. flour
dash of nutmeg
dash of pepper
dash of cayenne pepper

Cut bacon slices in half. Cut cheese same size as
bacon. Fry bacon until crisp. Line pie shell with bacon,
topped with overlapping pieces of cheese. Combine other
ingredients. Beat well. Pour over bacon and cheese. Bake 15
minutes at 400 degrees.
