1 or 1 1/2 lb. ground beef or
1 large onion
1 large green pepper
1 can red beans
3 qt. tomato juice
3/4 pkg. chili seasoning
dash of oregano
dash of celery salt
salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp. sugar
Brown beef, onion and pepper in skillet. In large pot,
combine the rest of ingredients, then add browned beef, etc. to
large pot and cook over medium heat for one hour. Reduce to
low for 2 hours. Serve. (If you like spicier chili, add an
extra 1/4 or 1/2 package of chili seasoning.)
