1 lb. steak, cut in strips
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
2 c. water
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 green pepper, cut in strips
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. soy sauce

Brown steak in hot oil; remove. Add onions and celery
and cook until limp. Add sugar, green pepper, water, and
bouillon to steak and simmer until tender. Blend cornstarch
with soy sauce and a little water, stirring until thick. Serve
over hot rice and Chinese noodles.
