MEXICAN-EGG CASSEROLE

sliced French bread
6 eggs
1 can diced green chilies
6 to 8 slices bacon or 1/2
lb. sausage
2 c. yellow cheese
1 large red onion

Trim the crust off bread. Saute meat, drain, crumble,
set aside. Grate cheese and chop onion. Oil large casserole
and lay bread (1 layer) in the pan. Beat eggs well and mix
with other ingredients. Pour over bread and bake at 350 degrees until
done. This is best mixed and sitting in refrigerator over-
night.
