BEEF GOULASH

2 lb. beef cubes
3 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter
1 large onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. can tomatoes
1 1/2 c. water
1 bay leaf
1 Tbsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
8 oz. noodles
chopped parsley (optional)

Roll beef in flour; brown in butter. Add onion and
garlic; cook a few minutes. Add tomatoes, water, bay leaf,
paprika and salt; stir well to loosen browned bits. Cover;
simmer about 2 hours or until meat is tender; stir occasional-
ly. Remove bay leaf. Gradually blend in sour cream; heat a
few minutes. Meanwhile, cook noodles as directed on package;
drain. Serve goulash over noodles; garnish with parsley.
