NORM'S BEEF STEW (Baked) Pam or 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil 1 1/2 lb. stew meat, roast cut in 1-inch cubes 1 medium onion, diced 4 stalks celery (1/2-inch pieces) 6 carrots (1/2-inch pieces) 4 to 5 medium potatoes (little chunks) 1/2 tsp. black pepper 2 Tbsp. salt 1 Tbsp. sugar 3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 large can tomato juice 1 can mushroom stems and pieces 1 c. water Brown cubed meat and onions in a roasting pan on stove. Use Pam or small amount of oil. Add all ingredients to the meat. Mix, cover and bake in slow 275 degrees oven for at least 4 hours.
