BASIC BRUNCH QUICHE|
1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
1/2 to 1 c. shredded cheese
1/2 to 1 c. chopped cooked and
drained meat, seafood,
poultry or vegetables (ham
and broccoli are good)
1 c. light cream or milk
1/2 tsp. herbs or other
1/2 tsp. salt
Sprinkle cheese, meat and/or vegetables into pie shell.
Beat together the eggs, cream or milk, seasoning and salt until
well blended. Pour over cheese, etc. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to
40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Makes 6 servings.
