SWEET GEORGIA HAM CASSEROLE|
1 1/2 lb. sliced ham, cut into
3 pared medium sweet potatoes
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. hot water
In a frying pan, brown ham. Place ham in a large
casserole. Slice sweet potatoes over ham. Sprinkle with brown
sugar. Add hot water to pan drippings; heat and blend. Pour
1/2 over sweet potatoes. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Baste occasionally with remaining liquid in frying pan. Remove
cover and brown for 15 minutes. Serves 6.
