BAR-B-QUE BRISKET 1 beef brisket 1/8 bottle liquid smoke 1 tsp. garlic salt pepper to taste 1 large can tomato sauce 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 shakes Tabasco sauce Line flat pan with heavy-duty foil, more than twice the size of pan (shiny side next to meat). Don't break foil!! Place meat on foil in pan, fat side up. Pour liquid smoke over meat; sprinkle salt and pepper over meat. Carefully fold over foil and seal all edges. Leave foil puffy over meat for steam. Add a little water in pan around foil. Bake at 300 degrees to 325 degrees for 2 hours. Open foil and fold back carefully and add remain- ing ingredients. Finish baking until tender. Slice diagonally and serve with sauce.
