1 medium onion, chopped
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 lb. ground beef
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 c. coarsely shredded cabbage
10 1/2 oz. tomato soup

Saute onion in butter. Add ground beef, salt and
pepper, heating through, but not browning. Spread 3 cups
cabbage in 2-quart baking dish; cover with meat mixture. Top
with 3 cups more cabbage. Pour tomato soup over the top. Bake
covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
