SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL
(Microwave Recipe)
2 lb. beef round steak, cut
into strips
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed
cream of mushroom soup
1 c. water
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 can (1 lb.) green beans,
drained
1 can (1 lb.) whole potatoes,
drained

Place meat in a 3-quart glass casserole dish. Cover and
microwave 5 to 7 minutes. Drain. Add soups, water and tomato
paste. Cover and microwave on Defrost for 2 hours to 2 hours
and 30 minutes (Simmer 4, 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours).
Stir twice during cooking. Add vegetables. Cover and micro-
wave 5 to 8 minutes or until hot. Let stand 5 minutes before
serving. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
