1 1/2 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. buttermilk
4 eggs, lightly beaten
dash of pepper
1 lb. bacon, cooked and
1 pastry-lined 9-inch pie
plate (or quiche dish,
1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp. sliced green onions
1 (6 oz.) can olives, pitted

Heat cream and buttermilk; whisk in eggs and seasonings. Stir
in cheese, bacon, onions and olives. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at
375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, until custard is set and golden. Garnish
with chopped parsley, if desired.
