FIVE HOUR STEW|
2 1/2 lb. stewing beef
6 diced potatoes
4 medium carrots
1 large onion
1 green pepper, chopped
1 c. celery, diced
3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar (optional)
1 can tomato soup
1/2 c. water
Mix up in heavy skillet and cook in 250 degrees oven for 5 hours. Do
not brown the meat; just mix all together and don't stir, just leave it
alone for the 5 hours.
