1 chicken, cut up
1 c. raw rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cans water
onion flakes
salt and pepper

Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish very well. Place rice
(uncooked) on bottom of pan. Place chicken, skin side up, on
top of rice. Heat and stir soups and water until smooth. Pour
soup over chicken. Sprinkle on top: onion flakes, turmeric,
salt and pepper. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 1/2
hour; uncover, and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
