6 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. grated cheese
4 slices toast
4 slices chicken or turkey
4 or more slices bacon
6 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Melt butter. Add flour until blended. Add milk slowly
and other ingredients. Lay toast in bottom of casserole; place
meat on top, then bacon. Pour cheese sauce all over this and
add a little grated cheese. (I use mild Cheddar.) Place
casserole under broiler or in 325 degrees oven until top becomes light
brown and bubbly.
