CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE

1 lb. ground beef
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. ketchup
5 to 6 slices American cheese
1 (10 oz.) can biscuits
1/4 c. onion
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce or
canned tomato soup

Combine beef and onion in skillet; cook until beef is
lightly browned. Drain. Add salt and pepper; stir in ketchup
and tomato sauce or soup. Turn into a casserole dish. Cut
cheese into strips and place on top of meat mixture. Top with
biscuits. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until biscuits
are brown.
