SCALLOPED POTATOES

2 lb. or 6 medium potatoes
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. margarine
2 1/2 c. milk

Cut potatoes into thin slices to measure 4 cups.
Arrange potatoes in greased 2-quart casserole and arrange in 4
layers sprinkling each of the first 3 layers with 1 tablespoon
onion, 1 tablespoon flour, salt and pepper, dotting each with 1
tablespoon butter. Heat milk just to scalding and pour over
potatoes. Cover, bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 60 to 70
minutes until potatoes are tender at 350 degrees. Makes 4 to 6
servings.
